SUMMER RALLY

Location: Camp Faribo, Faribault, Mn
The GMC Greater Midwest Classics Summer Rally was held July 11 - 14 at Camp Faribo hosted by Bill and Jean Pociengel. Seventeen coaches camped (no breakdowns were reported!) as well as six members joining the group for the day Saturday. Typical hot/humid July weather with a spattering of rain allowed us to be grateful for shady spots at the camp, and most of the younger generation spent their weekend in the pool. One hardy couple took advantage of the bike trails and biked 40 miles to Sakatah Lake State Park and beyond. Thirteen people toured the Faribault Woolen Mill and learned about the long history of US made woolen blankets. Many people admired Orval Faste’s 23’ coach with the new screen door he manufactured, and a team effort helped him install with a new TV antenna. Groups of guys moved from coach
to coach peering at, and under coaches discussing a myriad of projects.
FALL RALLY - GMC INVASION

Our 3rd year gathering for the Osceola Wheels and Wings GMC invasion. We camped at Jeff Wolf's hobby farm and convoying over 20 GMC motorhomes to the Osceola airport for the show.
