SUMMER RALLY - LAZY DAYS

Hosts: Keith & Karin Wickenhauser

Date: July 22-25, 2021

Location: Lazy Days Campground, Miltona, MN

For those of us that like to Glamp, the Summer Rally at the Lazy Days Campground was the way to go! A heated pool, 50 amp electricity, a beautiful rally center, and an ice cream social with all of the toppings!
Keith and Karen Wickenhause put on a fantastic rally! The only thing they didn’t plan for was the storm on Friday night that bought much needed rain, and wind gusts that rattled the cabinets. But we all survived…well, all but the Drummonds pop-up. RIP Canopy.

Get Out – the heat pool cooled down adults and children
Make Memories – learned Keith and Adam make killer French Toast
Cheer on Others – learned that every toolbox needs a paperclip and toothpick in it

SPRING RALLY

Location: Nelson's Landing RV Park, Nelson, WI

Thanks to Larry and Lucy Weidner for organizing our Spring Rally in Nelson, Wisconsin.  After two years, it was great seeing so many of our GMC family. It was a hot one, but 90+ degree weather wasn’t going to stop our club from coming together after a pandemic! What’s a little sweat between friends?! By day, we cooled down in the shade of a tent, the Cheese Factory’s ice cream was a favorite of everyone, and at night we cranked up the air conditioners. 

Get Out – the Eagle Center was educational
Make Memories – learned about screen doors from Orville
Cheer on Others – told stories of triumph around the campfire

FALL RALLY - JAMES VALLEY STEAM SHOW

Hosts:  Butch & Val Donahue and Donna & Kevin Anderson

Date: September 10-12, 2021

Location: James Valley Steam Show, Andover, SD

We had another opportunity September to experience the early 1900’s on the farm at the James Valley Steam Show! Andover is located on Hwy 12, 30 miles east of Aberdeen & 50 miles west of Interstate 29.
Daily steam events include: sawmills sawing, threshing, steam engines plowing and a
1:30pm steam and antique car parade. Also available are heritage crafts, a quilt show & programs, museums, flea market, concessions, breakfast and lunch on the grounds at the Feed Mill, and a 9:30am Sunday church service on the grounds

INTERNATIONAL RALLY

Location:  Northern Wisconsin State Fairgrounds, Chippewa Falls, WI
