    GMC Summer Rally

    When: August 21-23, 2020
    Where: Fair Hill Campground, 225 Edwards St, Chippewa Falls, WI. (On the grounds of the Northern WI State Fairgrounds)

    Pricing will be $30/unit per day for Electric (50 or 30 amp) and water hook ups from Thursday August 20 (early arrival) through Sunday, August 23. Payment, to be cash or check written to GMC Greater Midwest Classics. You do not need to reserve a specific spot in advance as we have the entire campground for our group

    Tentative schedule:

    •   Thursday (optional early arrival)

    •   Friday, August 21- registration begins at noon

    GMC Fall Rally
    Donna & Kevin Anderson, Butch & Val Donahue When: September 9 - 11, 2020
    Where: Threshermen’s Park, Andover, SD

    Hello Greater Midwest Classics friends!

    We have a great opportunity September 11, 12, & 13, 2020 to experience the early 1900’s on the farm at the James Valley Steam Show! Visit to check out past events and their history. Andover is located on Hwy 12, 30 miles east of Aberdeen and 50 miles west of Interstate 29.

    Daily steam events include: sawmills sawing, threshing, steam engines plowing and a 1:30 steam and antique car parade. Also available are heritage crafts, a quilt show & programs, museums, flea market, concessions, breakfast and lunch on the grounds at the Feed Mill, 9:30 Sunday church service on the grounds.

    If desired our group is welcome to arrive in Andover, SD by 4:00pm on Wednesday the 9th for a tour of the foundry, on Thursday, where they built parts for the World’s Biggest Steam Tractor in history.

     Thursday, 10th
    8:00 am - Coffee & continental breakfast at the Anderson Museum

     Bring a cup of fruit to share.
    11:00 am - Carpool to tour the foundry, followed by lunch

     Reservation required

     Friday, 11th
    8:00 am - Coffee & continental breakfast at Anderson Museum

     Bring a cup of fruit to share Day at the threshing show

     Bring a cup of fruit to share 9:30 am - Church at fairgrounds. Noon -Depart AndoverOptional stop on your way home is the Terry Redlin Art Center in Watertown, SD

    Notes: Breakfast and lunch are available at the Feed Bin Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Main Street Bar serves dinner on Friday and Saturday Nights

    Please note, there are no electric spots available.
     If you don’t have a generator a large generator will be supplied big enough for

     Golf Cart Rental - 2 seater $75.00/day or 4 seater $100.00 (Campsite is approximately 6 blocks from fairgrounds)

    If you chose, the National Rally is in Rapid City, South Dakota, which is a 5 hour drive from Andover. You could have two full weekends of nothing but GMC rally’s and fun!
